Grant Writing

  • Facilitate public and private partnerships for program development, project implementation, and securing of financial resources. Identify potential grants applicable to current and future client needs.
  • Research traditional and non-traditional funding opportunities.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings to identify goals, objectives, methodology, partners, and work plans necessary for pursuing funding opportunities.
  • Generate budgets. Write narratives for grant applications.
  • Manage grant projects: deliverables, timelines, budgets, narrative reporting.

Education

  • Work with funding organizations, commodity associations, agricultural producers, and/or academic institutions to identify educational needs and develop programs and curricula.
  • Create integrated marketing programs to encourage adoption of strategic innovations.

Agricultural Tours for Producers

  • Intensive, technical tours designed to assist agricultural producers in addressing key themes (e.g. quality fruit, mechanization, etc.) or exploring a particular region.
  • Technical and Touristic Tours with an emphasis on production agriculture.

Food Safety Education for Producers

  • Global G.A.P.
  • USDA GAP

Management

  • Facilitate strategic and tactical planning.
  • Educate stakeholders in the development and use of work plans.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts via working with diverse groups and representatives to achieve consensus and direct progress towards common goals.
  • Provide management expertise to organizations and projects.

Evaluation

  • Develop utilization-focused evaluation methodologies appropriate to client, stakeholders, & situation.
  • Conduct benchmarking activities.
  • Establish system(s) for documenting impacts.
  • Identify stakeholder readiness to participate in and/or embrace proposed changes.
